The Journal of Urban Research (JUR) accepts research articles in English and Arabic within the journal’s scope and research fields.

3-Manuscript Submission

- Submission of a manuscript implies that the work described has not been published before; that it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else; and that its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities at the institute where the work has been carried out.

- Please follow the hyperlink “Submit online ” and upload all of your manuscript files following the instructions on the screen. Before submission, please ensure that you prepared all the required documents. Resubmission of a previously rejected manuscript is considered as a new submission:

• Online Submission Steps:

1. Select Manuscript Type
2. Enter Manuscript Title (Full Title - Running Title)
3. Add/Remove Authors
4. Enter Abstract (Abstract word limit is 150 to 250 words)
5. Enter Keywords (Keywords count should be 3 to 5 Keywords)
6. Additional Comments
7. Suggested Reviewers
8. Attach Files:

• Please upload all the files related to your manuscript.
• Allowed file type(s) for "Manuscript Main File" is only: DOC, DOCX
• Authors information should not be placed in "Manuscript Main File".
• Upload authors' information via a separate "Title Page"
•  Cover Letter & Checklist
• Finish Submission

1. The full manuscript without the author/s info (DOC, DOCX)
2. The title page

The Article Processing Charge (APC)

a) On submission of the manuscript (18 pages maximum), a non-refundable submission fee of 1000 Egyptian pounds or the equivalent in other currencies is to be paid after initial acceptance for review

b)   On acceptance of the manuscript, an additional Publication fee of 500 Egyptian pounds or the equivalent in other currencies is to be paid before enrolment of the manuscript in the next possible issue.

c)    For manuscripts exceeding 18 pages, the additional pages will be charged at 100 L.E/page or the equivalent in other currencies.

d)   Payment Method:

• Authors from outside Egypt: can pay through a Bank Transfer, as follows:
